Flowers at Holy Trinity

Flowers at Holly Trinity

At Holy Trinity we pride ourselves in having floral arrangements throughout the year, apart from during the seasons of Advent and Lent, to enhance the beauty of our church.

Members of the congregation are invited to make a donation , perhaps in memory of a loved one or to celebrate a special birthday or anniversary, for example with their money going towards the cost of the flowers.

The flower team comprises a group of volunteers who enjoy having the opportunity to create large and small-scale arrangements. Should you be reading this and thinking you would like to join the team but feel you may not have the necessary experience, please rest assured that we are all self-taught and that
you would not be expected to tackle a pedestal arrangement until you felt ready to do so. We normally
work in pairs either on a Friday or Saturday morning, coming together for the big festivals such as
Christmas, Easter, Trinity Sunday and Harvest.

Three members of the team belong to the Church of England Flower Arrangers’ Association and are, therefore, able to help with flower arranging at the Anglican Cathedral in Liverpool. Duties there give us the opportunity to arrange flowers for weekly services, weddings, special events & services and flower

Should you like more information, please do not hesitate to contact Jane Roberts who will be pleased to answer any questions you may have.
